The Midas HD96-24-CC-TP whispered it’s way around social media and made onlookers curious as to whether or not it was truly real. It has officially been out for two years now and is making a big splash in the music industry. This state-of-the-art console has 144 inputs, 96 aux sends, 28 fadeers, 1152 inputs/outputs in total, stereo/mono options, 24 matrix busses, two monitor busses, two solo busses, 24 effects slots, and more. It’s so much that it’s almost too much to name. Even better is how it works with the already existing Midas DL I/O. Running at 96kHz, it’s maximum latency is 2ms–which is quite honestly a dream.

Because it’s the 21st century, of course it connects to the cloud. Upgrades used to have to be done through a separate download and connection method, but now all firmware updates can be done directly through the console. Every single show file can be time and date stamped, accessible in the cloud, and get rid of USB sticks forever. Bug reports and fixes are now also possible through this technology.
